I got an email from the editor of The Quill, the magazine for Alpha Xi Delta. A piece about me and my experience will be in the current issue. I’m excited to have my story shared with all of the membership – both current sisters and alumnae.
I hope they take my words and use then to take action. These collegiate sisters have been raised in the school shooting generation, and have all experienced code red drills.
In the piece, I talk about my experience on 2/14, about my life and mental health journey, about “Parkland Speaks,” and about why working to make a change is so important.
